What it is

A reproduction of the 2007/08 United home shirt with number 7 on the back. Fan cut, S to 2XL. The name and number are part of the shirt rather than an add-on.

Why we picked it

This is the better gift than any current shirt, and the reason is simple: a kit from a season he actually watched keeps its meaning for thirty years, while this year’s is visibly last year’s by next August. 2007/08 was the Champions League season, so for a United dad in his forties this is a specific memory rather than a garment.
