What it is

SNES control pad, offered as either a new aftermarket unit or a genuine vintage controller roughly 30 years old, cleaned and tested. Vintage units may show marks and light yellowing. Twelve-month warranty.

Why we picked it

The SNES pad invented the shoulder-button layout that every controller still uses, so putting one in his hands is a small, winnable argument about where modern gaming actually came from. At under seventeen dollars it is the cheapest honest hit of 1992 we found.
