The dad with records in a crate and no way to play them. Not the collector who already owns a deck, since he will have opinions about tonearms that this does not answer.

What it is

A belt-driven two speed turntable with a pre-mounted Audio-Technica cartridge, a built-in switchable phono preamp, and Bluetooth 5.2 out to a speaker or headphones. Plays 33 and 45, and also runs by cable into an amplifier.

Why we picked it

The record collection in the garage is usually stuck there because every route back to playing it involves buying three things that have to match. This is one box: cartridge already fitted and aligned, preamp already inside, and a Bluetooth transmitter so the first record can be played through a speaker he already owns on the same afternoon it arrives.
