Why we picked it
The shape does a real job: the bowl holds the spirit and the narrowed rim concentrates what comes off it, which is why distilleries pour into these rather than tumblers. Most people who like whisky have never actually drunk from one, and the first time is a genuinely different experience with a bottle they already own.
