What it is

Replacement base grip with a balanced feel, neither overly tacky nor dry, with micro perforations for moisture absorption.

Why we picked it

This is the base grip underneath the overgrip, and almost nobody ever changes it. It hardens and goes slick after a couple of seasons, which is the real reason his racquet feels like it twists on off-centre hits. Wrapping fresh overgrip over a dead base grip fixes nothing.
