Why we picked it
Gas is convenient and charcoal is the one that tastes different, and the 57cm kettle is the size that has been getting this right since 1952. The vents are the actual technology: open them and it sears, shut them down and the same kettle holds low heat for hours, which is how a roast or a slow-cooked shoulder happens outside. Buying it from Weber’s own store is worth a mention, because the enamel and the warranty are the two things the cheap copies do not match.
