Why we picked it
Most amateurs miss greens short because they club off a guess and the guess is optimistic. A laser removes the argument, and the slope function is the part that actually changes scores, because an uphill approach plays longer than the number on the sprinkler head. The switch matters too: slope has to be off to be legal in competition, and a rangefinder without that switch cannot go in the bag on a Saturday.
