Why we picked it

A roll-top that is both insulated and actually waterproof does two jobs a normal esky cannot: it keeps the drinks cold and it keeps the phone, wallet and keys dry when the bow slams into a chop. The air valve lets it roll flat, so it stows in a boat where a hard esky simply will not fit.
